Caloundra Private Hospital promotes a culture of continuous learning amongst staff. Employees are supported and encouraged to pursue further education through both internal and external education forums.

The Hospital’s education program is closely aligned with its strategic planning. Identified areas of need are strongly supported with education and training for interested staff members.

Caloundra Private Hospital’s education personnel promote opportunities available to staff via government assistance programs, scholarships, external health training providers, tertiary institutions and corporate training opportunities.

Caloundra Private Hospital maintains close relationships with local Universities to provide clinical placements and facilitation for students. The hospital offers a comprehensive Graduate Nurse Program - "Gradplus" and provides transition programs for nurses reentering the acute sector.

The hospital has established links with local schools by offering traineeships to year 11 and 12 students.
