When You Leave

Discharge from hospital

Discharge from hospital usually takes place at around 10am. It is important that you visit staff at the front Reception desk before departure to settle any accounts for charges that may have been incurred during your stay.

Please check with your doctor regarding your ability to drive yourself home upon leaving hospital. We recommend that all patients refrain from driving for 24 hours after discharge and organise for someone to accompany them home and stay with them for 24 hours.

Please remember to take all personal belongings home with you.
